MEET GINA
As a resident of DeKalb County’s 5th District, Gina has been an effective advocate for the community for more than 20 years. She is a proven leader. Gina earned a business degree from the University of Michigan (BBA) and a doctorate from John Marshall Law School (JD). She is a graduate of both Leadership Atlanta and Leadership DeKalb.
Gina is an attorney, mediator, and trustee. Before attending law school, she gained corporate experience in finance as a Marketing Executive at IBM and community development experience as Executive Director of the Pittsburgh Partnership CDC in southwest Atlanta. Gina is uniquely qualified to serve as 5th District Commissioner.

Gina prioritizes community engagement and inclusion. She will hold regular community forums on specific issues to guide and assist her in setting policy and decision-making.

Gina aims to enhance infrastructure, public safety, transportation, and economic growth through legislation. She believes sound policy is key to advancing DeKalb County sustainably.

Fiscal Responsibility, Government Accountability and Ethics:
Gina will prioritize responsible budgeting and financial oversight to ensure that taxpayer dollars are used efficiently and effectively. Her goal is to increase government transparency and accountability to build trust with constituents.
